Space Policy Review and Strategy on Protection of Satellites

This report provides a review of space policy and describes the Department of Defense’s approach to protecting and defending space systems and protecting the Joint Force from adversary hostile use of space.

The Secretary of Defense, in coordination with the Director of National Intelligence, should make a strategy publicly available containing the actions that will be taken to defend and protect on-orbit satellites of the Department of Defense and the intelligence community from the capabilities of adversaries to target, degrade, or destroy satellites.
